Refugees & Frontiers: Keep Europe United
This is an Erasmus+ cooperation between these schools:
Why this project
The studying of refugees and frontiers is necessary as this is one of the biggest challenges the EU has had to face so far. Millions of people attempting dangerous sea crossings and walking for days to reach certain EU countries, indicates there are major issues – both in the countries from which they are fleeing, but also within the EU because of different approaches and attitudes.
This has brought 5 countries together in this project, under EU’s Erasmus+ programme. The countries are the Netherlands, Italy, Greece, Turkey and Denmark.
Working with students in these countries will enable to give them a better understanding of the process of dealing with refugees and their rights, essential to develop a greater European identity.
We hope to make our contribution to a positive and unified Europe
